The agent may report to authorities that u are habouring illegal which will lead to jail & penalty.

Another way is to ask immigration for help. Because your helper is an indon, you might be able to apply for JP visa. But u need to pay her penalty for overstaying (rm30 per day). Then u have to extend her social visit pass before u apply for a JP visa. If visa approved, then u apply for work permit. It's like re-applying everthing again but without agent. You need time to do it & money. I have a runner but i don't know how much he charges. Email me if u need his number. For all helpers, u need to apply for calling visa first. But there are some who came in thru social visit pass before applying for a JP visa and subsequently a work permit. U need to check directly with the immigration on this. I believe the application process for an expat is different from a local.

2) Unfortunately there isn't any info on this. To apply for a calling visa, u need to check with an agent in indonesia. All I know is it may take months to apply for one. The local agent who has contact with indonesian agent can do the application for u but of course they charge hefty fee.CThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08131710534702851460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7441597340084246695.post-11504383674441197272015-01-11T19:36:19.965+08:002015-01-11T19:36:19.965+08:00Dear CT,

I am a foreigner living in Malaysia with Residence Pass permit ( the new 10 year working permit for professionals living in Malaysia). I and my wife now are planning to bring a maid from Indonesia to Malaysia (we have already the person in Indonesia - we just need to bring her to Malaysia and arrange the working permit). I heard people saying different things about how to bring a maid to Malaysia. Some said it is not possible to use JPV, but a friend of my wife just did it recently (November 2014). Most agencies that I called said that we have to do it with calling visa, only one agency mentioned that they could arrange it with JPV but they quoted RM 8k for that ( just for arranging the visa!!). I also heard that the regulations are different depending on employer's visa, being Malaysian citizens, PRs, employment pass, MM2H, Residence Pass, etc..
I would appreciate if you could share same lights here:
1. Is it true that calling visa is the only way to go? Do you know anything related to different regulations for different types of employer visa ( employment pass, MM2H, etc)
2. If I want to arrange calling visa for the maid, where can i find information on the steps how to do it?

Many thanks!

regards
EdwinEdwinnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7441597340084246695.post-55161324252181849042014-12-17T01:17:08.186+08:002014-12-17T01:17:08.186+08:00Hi,

Once your maid's work permit is cancelled/not renewed, she has to go home for 3 months (known as cooling off period). If she intends to work in malaysia again, her application will be treated as 'new'. And therefore, her application will not be approved because she exceeded the age limit which is 45 years old.CThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08131710534702851460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7441597340084246695.post-79198040570454625652014-12-17T01:08:34.041+08:002014-12-17T01:08:34.041+08:00Hi Raman,

They've been giving all sorts of excuses and finally only when I threaten them with police report, they returned my maid's passport and letter of approval for "PERMOHONAN PAS LAWATAN (KERJA SEMENTARA PEMBANTU RUMAH)" few weeks ago. So I went to Shah Alam immigration, they ask to go Putrajaya as maid has overstayed. Went to Putrajaya they said must pay compound RM2100 and send maid home or go to Wangsa Maju pay RM400 to send her back but my maid will be blacklisted for 5 years.

My contract with maid ends on Oct 2014, like it or not, I need to send her home. But we like her and my daughter is fond of her, and I want to continue with her. My maid agreed but wants to go home for about 1 month and come back to us by Dec. Any advice or do you know any good agent that can help me?

Many many thanks!
NavijAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
